Course Overview
This presentation discusses the phenomena & treatment challenges of blood stasis syndromes in a post-covid world as it relates to both covid infections and covid injections. Within the context of TCM Principles of Immunology, we review the biomechanics of the hyperergic allergic response with covid infections & injections and the evolving pathogenesis into blood stasis, vacuity & deep-lying phlegm. As the predominant pathophysiology of both covid infections & injections is endothelial injury, we review the purpose & function of the endothelial system as an immune regulation modulator and how persistent inflammation leads to hemostasis abnormalities, ischemia & cardiovascular disease. Current covid statistics (USA) and tracking & surveillance data along with clinical findings relating to blood stasis and heart inflammation are presented to better understand the current landscape of public health after two years of the covid pandemic experience. The similarities and differences between covid infection & covid injections are presented with a focus on the bleeding & coagulation events associated with aspects of covid vaccines. Presented are critical factors related to long haul syndromes and persistent infection post both covid illnesses & injections along with therapeutic principles and protocols for detoxification and treating blood stasis disorders, and including precautionary considerations. Disclaimer: there are no proven treatments for Covid-19
Course Objectives
- Understand the purpose & function of the endothelial system as an immune regulation modulator, the allergic reaction mechanics, and how covid infections & covid injections lead to hemostasis abnormalities, ischemia & cardiovascular disease.
