These muscles are shown and practiced in the live-seminar SMAC courses under guidance.

A truly unique program unlike anything out there today, the SMAC program takes the licensed acupuncturist to the next level in clinical practice. This program adds depth and understanding to how acupuncture works, and is a must for anyone who wants to refine their technical skills.

If you are looking for clarity on some of the most common complaints that you will see in clinic, take this course! Understanding the neck extensors and rotators is paramount to having effective treatments. You will learn both distal and local methods of treatment, and given that some people can react differently to both, it will give you options for treating. Knowing the innervations, the sinew channels, which are rarely gone into depth in acupuncture schools, and how to understand excess and deficiency concepts with musculoskeletal issues, will give you a massive advantage in helping patients efficiently and effectively.

I recommend Mark Callisons Neck, Shoulder and Upper extremity module in the highest of terms for continuing TCM education. His regular repetition of the channels/acupuncture points, discussion of the latest TCM debates based on research, cadaver and life model demonstration were beyond excellent.
