This webinar explains the various structures of the eye, including the cornea, conjunctiva, sclera, iris, retina and the lens. It also explains the fluids of the eye. Next, we delve into the nerve supply of the eye in detail. Thereafter, we shift to understanding in detail the relationship between the organs and the eye. All the 5 yin organs are related to specific diseases of the eye. This webinar also makes us understand the impact of external pathogenic factors and emotions on the eye health. There are many new extra points around the eyes which are used to treat difficult eye diseases. I have covered in detail the exact location, method and depth of insertion of these points with videos showing these points. Another important aspect is the common distal points used in treating eye diseases which have also been covered. Another important subject covered in the use of moxibustion in treating eye diseases, including the use of walnut shell spectacles to treat degenerative vision loss. This webinar is in attempt to bring you closer to understanding the use of Acupuncture in treating all types of eye diseases.
