Course Overview
Drawing on twenty years of experience as a highly acclaimed teacher and practitioner, Dr. Forrest Cooper teaches the assessment and treatment of 15 of the most common and debilitating diseases of the neck, upper back, shoulder and upper extremity. This course will teach you clinical presentation, physical exams, acupuncture and tui na treatments. Important diseases covered include cervical spondylopathy, fallen pillow, thoracic outlet syndrome, frozen shoulder, tennis / golfers elbow, and carpal tunnel. The techniques taught in this course will add greatly to any practitioners ability to treat pain and improve patients lives.
Course Objectives
- The student will be able to assess a patient for the cause of their pain in the neck, shoulder, upper back, and upper extremities
- The student will be able to track improvement or patients condition
- The student will be able to use appropriate needling to treat the patients condition
- The student will be able to use appropriate Tui Na stretches for each patient condition
