Course Overview

With the upsurge in psychedelic research and Oregons recent legalization of psilocybin within licensed facilities this course will go over the information needed for Chinese medicine practitioners to know to navigate and effectively answer patients questions may have about this new offering. (1) Who can access these services? Who can provide these services? (2) Contraindications and medication interactions. (3) The science of psilocybin. (4) Historical psychedelic use within Chinese medicine. Dr. Douglas Wingate was one of the first licensed psilocybin facilitators in Oregon and in the United States. Maintaining a Chinese medicine practice since 2011 he covers everything practitioners need to know about the new Oregon laws and accessibility of psilocybin services.
